Finger Lakes ReUse is seeking to fill their Workforce Coordinator position and would very much appreciate community members sharing this position widely, and providing any advice on how to get this posting into the hands of individuals who may not access it through traditional channels.
Finger Lakes ReUse is a dynamic workplace that engages a large variety of community members into our operations. These individuals cannot be simply defined as "volunteers" therefore the common title "Volunteer Coordinator" does not fully encapsulate the nature of this position. The Workforce Coordinator will be supporting community members who have joined ReUse to develop job skills, to fulfill service requirements, to connect with their community, and many other reasons! This individual will work with community members who have had barriers to mainstream employment including incarceration, economic hardship, disability, substance addiction, etc. The Workforce Coordinator will be active in our operations, processing donations into valuable merchandise and working alongside the individuals they are tasked to support. They will also be tasked with basic administration necessary to support our community members, with a large emphasis on email communication.
