Leslie Strebel of The Strebel Planning Group

Please join me in celebrating the amazing work of Leslie Strebel of The Strebel Planning Group. They have been in business since 1984 and have blessed Ithaca with their services since 1992. The group offers one stop shopping for a wide variety of mission critical financial functions.  According to Leslie, “We are progressives that have been specializing in socially responsible investments for years and run a very family/employee friendly shop.  Our employees tend to stay with us for a very long time which enables superior service at reasonable prices. We are also very attuned to the needs of our community and organizations that make our world a better place.”

What Leslie loves about our the financial services industry is the fact that “The relationships we forge are deep and long standing.  I love our clients and feel privileged to work with such wonderful people.” When asked how COVD has affected your business Leslie replied, “We were able to transition to a predominately work from home environment quickly as we already had a pretty liberal policy about it.  The office has been very quiet, with just a handful of people there.  The market did crash, but fortunately rebounded quickly.  Our staff misses their work family, and we miss the daily face to face interaction with clients.”  

Leslie’s advice for a new business owner is “Read the E Myth so you can get clear on what you do, for whom, how to best go about doing it and don’t try to do everything yourself.” Excellent advice Leslie. Thank you for being a part of the Business Leaders of Colors network!
